Jazz Bridge’s Real Philadelphia Book/Neighborhood Concert series showcases local jazz musicians in 24 performances in three venues and runs from October through May each year.

These concerts take place from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm,  on first Wednesdays in Cheltenham, PA; on first Thursdays in Collingswood, NJ, and on third Wednesdays in Roxborough (Philadelphia), PA.

Each year, we present a stellar and diverse line-up of over 100 jazz and blues musicians, often presenting original work, at family-friendly ticket prices ($10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students with I.D., kids 12 and under are FREE).  We also offer discounted season passes: the Gold VIP card ($140.00) admits you to all 24 concerts, and the Blue card ($80.00) admits you to any 12 concerts. Both season passes let the cardholder bring one guest to each concert for FREE.  Click here to buy a Gold or Blue card (supplies limited).

The Neighborhood Concerts are hosted by local jazz musicians and aficionados, and each concert includes a unique opportunity for the audience to interact with the performers through a Q&A period.  Click here to meet the hosts for this year’s Neighborhood Concert series.

The Neighborhood Concerts are currently supported by grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts/Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and PNC Arts Alive (the presenting sponsor of the Roxborough series for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons).

Jazz Bridge also produces some limited series jazz performances.  With support from the City of Philadelphia and the Friends of Hawthorne Park, we present outdoor concerts in City parks during the summer months. The City also funds us to curate performances held in local Free Library branches and senior centers during the fall and winter months as well as April (Jazz Appreciation Month).
