Pianist Suzzette Ortiz proudly hosts “Jazz in the Wood,”

Please join us on Thursday, March 4th, 2026, as we welcome Phyllis Chapell and her group to the

Collingswood Community Center,

30 Collings Ave, Collingswood, NJ 08108.

Doors at 7pm. The concert starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.

Tickets: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Students are FREE!

$5 from every ticket goes toward the Musician Assistance fund.

About Phyllis:

vocalist/guitarist—performs a unique mix of jazz, pop, folk, and international music, including songs in up to 13 languages. Phyllis Chapell has performed in concert throughout the U.S., Brazil, Latin America, and Europe. She has released multiple CDs and videos. Phyllis Chapell has been named as one of the top 500 jazz vocalists of all time by DownBeat. She has also won song competitions for her original music; and was chosen to be one of Indie-Music’s Top 25. She recently was awarded a Bronze Medal from Global Music Awards for her video “Howling Wolf” (original composition).
