Jazz Bridge in partnership with the Friends of Hawthorns ends the summer concert season with violinist/vocalist Owen Valentine. London born Vocalist, Violinist and multi-instrumentalist Owen Valentine has been touring major venues around the world since the late 80’s. Influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, John Coltrane, Earth Wind and Fire, and Bob Marley. His high energy performances are noted for their constant innovation and unique original compositions. His extensive performance background includes work with Sun Ra, Gil Scott Heron, Stanley Jordan, Jason Samuels Smith and Kamasi Washington.

Location is 12th & Catharine Street, Phila., PA 19147. Hosted by Rhenda Fearrington. Showtime is 7-8:30 pm. These concerts are free.
