Aaron Brown grew up in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia graduating from Penn State University with a Marketing degree and later earning his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Marywood University.
Today, Aaron splits his time as a professional Grant Writer, with WXPN and his own consulting agency, and as a Musician playing jazz, rock, and blues at venue such as Union Transfer, Boot and Saddle, World Cafe Live, The Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia and venues across the country including Mountain Stage in West Virginia, Club Passim in Massachusetts, and Uncommon Ground in Chicago.
As an avid lover of jazz he frequently attends concerts all over Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York, with one of his all time highlights seeing the legendary Jimmy Heath perform at Jazz Bridge’s concert series.
Through being on the Board of Jazz Bridge, Aaron is very honored to give back to the jazz community in Philadelphia which has brought him, and many others, so much joy.
