Celebrating 14 years, Jazz Bridge hosts a gala with open bar, a tasty buffet and the Duane Eubanks Quartet (w/ Sharp Radway, piano; Madison Rast, bass; and Anwar Marshall on drums) Sunday June 3rd from 1 – 5 PM at the Philadelphia Independence Seaport Museum, 211 S. Columbus Blvd., with convenient parking right next door. Located on the top floor of the museum, the ballroom and terraces offer a one-of-a-kind experience with views of the Delaware River waterfront. The room holds 700 people, and tables of up to 8 are available. There are two ticket prices:
At this very special event, Jazz Bridge will be giving the “Jazz Ambassador Award” to E.C. Bradley, owner of the Candlelight Lounge in Trenton, and the “Making a Difference Award” to Mark Christman of Ars Nova Workshop. Mayor Michael A. Nutter is Honorary Chairman and Michelle Lordi is our honorary Musician Advocate this year, and as always, this fundraiser benefits professional greater Philadelphia-area Jazz and blues musicians in times of crisis.
All concerts are $10/$5 for students (children under 12 FREE) and run from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm. One show. No advance sales.
