CD Release Concert & 2013 “Making a Difference” Award
Jazz bassist Dylan Taylor’s CD release party at the Painted Bride Arts Center, 230 Vine Street, on Friday, December 13th, will celebrate the release of Sweeter for the Struggle, which features special guest guitarist Larry Coryell. A part of the evening’s festivities will be the Jazz Bridge annual “Making a Difference” Award ceremony, presented this year to Lovett Hines from the Philadelphia Clef Club of the Performing Arts. Hines will receive the award, which comes with a $250 prize, in recognition of his exemplary devotion to teaching generations of jazz players.
